Lace Tambourine

While these are incredibly beautiful, this would also be a really good craft project for kids. I can see many different fabrics, bigger bells, and thicker twine.

Of course, these would be beautiful as a wedding souvenier. They would make great noise makers, instead of clapping, and I think, they could probably be used as a neat fan-type item with smaller bells that create a wonderfully tiny jingle noise. I know it sounds weird, but think about it. 🙂

A few of these with themed fabric might also make a cool wall hanging.

DIY Lace Tambourine

I wish I can say I thought of this idea. But really, it was this creative bride and her stunning wedding that inspired these handmade lace tambourines. The timing of the discovery could not have been more ideal since my dear friends were getting married a few weeks later. I thought they would be the perfect addition to their impending nuptials. With just a few simple materials, I sat down to make these adorable wedding favors – just in time for their Labor Day Weekend celebration!
